Looking for a place for American brunch? How about Mr. Pancake House?!
Mr. Pancake House is an American breakfast restaurant in the Jing An district in Shanghai. You may order a bunch of different breakfast dishes with omelette, pancakes, and waffles. They have few branches in Shanghai, the one I went is located at Ju Lu Lu ((巨鹿路店))in Xu Hui area (徐汇区).
I like this cozy American style café, the food is tasty, inexpensive breakfast sets. A nice place with refillable coffee and thick fluffy pancakes, great place to have a delicious brunch and hang out with friend.
The Must-try dish of course is their pancakes~ there are many variety of pancake flavors you can choose from the menu. My all-time favorite is Banana Walnut Pancakes, tapped with more banana slices and walnuts on top of the pancakes. It costs about 35RMB. Trust me, the portion is really huge and you might want to share with someone. So that you can reserve some space in your stomach to try other dishes.
We ordered a Chicken Florentine Crepes, Chicken breast strips with spinach, mushrooms and onions with light seasoning, rolled inside 2 crepes with cheese and topped with hollandaise. This is so delicious and tasty. Price is 42RMB.
Smoked Sausages Breakfast, 2 fried eggs (or you can choose scrambled eggs), 2 smoked sausages served with pancakes and hams, 48RMB for this one.
Do get there earlier, before 11AM or avoid weekends, otherwise you have to wait in the queue in getting table.

Travel by metro
Take Metro at Line 1 Metro Changshu Lu (常熟路), exit 6, go straight until you reach junction at Changshu Lu, then turn right. You will see the shop on your right. It just take about 5-10 minutes-walk from the metro station.
